An awful pun, but I quite like the name!
This ultra narrow gauge railway serves a small mining community. The microlayout depicts the very end of the line, where the wagons are loaded with ore at the mine.
Due to steep gradients the loco brings empty wagons up from the village station one at a time for loading before returning carefully back down for another.
The spur to build the layout was found on the NGRM On-Line forum where the 2016 Dave Brewer Challenge was announced as being to build a small “tuning fork” type layout.
