Kleinstedorf

Kleinstedorf, smallest village, at the time of writing is the smallest of my layouts. It’s a very simple scene depicting a single track branch line station.

Passenger trains terminate here before returning to the junction but the line carries on beyond the station for a few miles to serve a coal mine which is main reason for the branch’s existence.

However, the coal trains usually run at night so only passenger trains are seen on the layout.

The train is an N scale Del Prado model of an East German railcar, it’s not motorised but  uses my “horizontal puppet string” method of propulsion.
