Viernes en el ferrocarril

Friday on the railway, celebrating the start of the weekend with an afternoon operating session on the FCPyF. I did try making a video recording of it, but I can’t drive the trains and hold my phone at the same time so this YouTube upload is a slide show instead.

Both moguls were used, No.7 working a round trip between San Fernandez (staging), via Frog Rock, Resurreccion and Bodjio, to Grande and No.42 working Grande to Cuarto de Pulgada and back via Bodjio, Rio Paleta and Cumbre. No.18 was on station pilot duties at Grande, including providing rear end assistance for No.42 on the climb to Cumbre. Railcar 305 was also seen on the high line, working from Cuarto to Grande and back. The railway’s two consolidations, Nos.33 and 117, can be spotted lurking in the gloom of the loco shed at Grande.
