The trouble with wiring…

The trouble I have with adding the wiring on a new modelling project is the temptation to play with the layout as soon as the trains are running, instead of getting on and finishing the job!

The electrical circuitry and switches required for the off stage section at the far end of the garage have also been completed but the wiring runs between the control panel and the staging area are yet to be installed…

…Mañana

Edit.

Wiring now completed and all tracks operational. I’m having second thoughts about the exit to fiddleyard at the far end of the layout though. Now toying with the idea of the water tank being in front and the goods siding/shed behind. This gives room for a longer siding and some scenic scope for extending the goods facilities behind the Rio line. Having the goods facilities behind the passenger station also opens up the option for a single track train-shed which would work very well as a view-block to hide the traverser.

More to follow.
