Civil engineering

The FCPyF is operating a rail replacement bus service today.

1 bus

Well, what else would you expect to find on a Bank Holiday Monday?

3 down line

The Chief Civil Engineer’s staff have a possession between Resurreccion and Rio Paleta.

2 up line

The new track has now been laid all the way from Resurreccion to Jones River Junction but it looks as if the works will over-run by at least 24 hours because there are not enough materials on hand to complete the job between the junction and Rio Paleta. I’ll be able to get some more On30 flextrack in Alsager tomorrow when I pass through the town on my way from Crewe to Biddulph.

4 scenery

This is going to be one very impressive bit of mountainside when it’s completed. A train dwarfed by the scenery is usually a sight reserved for large N scale layouts, not O scale, not my layouts, at least not until now.
