New station

I have just been pottering about in the garage selecting some bits of wood suitable for building a third fiddleyard for the FCPyF, while I was at it I tried working out how best to get the traverser to serve two running lines and decided that gauntleting the approach tracks would cut down the amount of movement required to change tracks. This should also give the impression that the two running lines meet at a junction just off stage.

Jones River Station

It also occurred to me that the goods shed from Puerto del Sastra would make a good view-block at the end of the scenic section so a siding has been added to the plan and the station building from Puerto will balance the scene out on the far side of the tracks. Having a station right at the end of the layout like this gives an excuse for some shunting using the traverser (cheaper than points!) to add operational interest.
