Head in the clouds

The thick Scottish mist over Allt-Na-Ballt has only been added as a temporary feature for this photograph but I’ve got enough of the cushion stuffing to create a layer of “low cloud” along the top edge of the zigzag section of the FCPyF, thus hiding the transistion from model railway scenery to the brickwork of the garage wall.


Head in the clouds, or a realistic way of modelling high mountains? I remember from childhood holidays that Snowdon was the same height as lesser peaks around it, all of them cut off at cloud level. The view from the top was even more boring, just the same clouds but viewed from the inside instead of from below.
