Four years on

Not quite true, but it follows on well from the previous blog entry!

It’s actually four and a half years since Cheshire Railway Modellers first exhibited their Latin American themed On30 modular layout. The Ferrocarril Internacional went on to appear at a good number of shows between January 2010 and January 2013 before being retired from the exhibition circuit. Tony Pritchard still owns a few of the FI modules, which he is intending to incorporate in a layout in his garden shed, and I have two, Rio Paleta and Frog Rock, which have been supplemented by Resurrección and Jones River to create the Ferrocarril Consolidado Pampa y Fernandez.

Anyhows, I’m rambling. The purpose of this post is to present a slideshow of the whole Ferrocarril Internacional so here we go.

It was great fun while it lasted, I’d thoroughly recommend modular layouts to anyone considering trying something similar.
