Once bitten, twice shy

Or proving that I can learn by my mistakes.

Having been caught out with the loading gauge on Resurrección I was determined not to make the same mistake on Jones River, so the big Peru Rail diesel was used for clearance testing when arching the girders for use as cross spans on the bridge.

bridge 001Also visible in the picture, concrete pads have been made to support the bridge and work has begun on creating the river bed.
